Fiorentina has contacted Arsenal over Lucas Torreira on loan. According to Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to reports in Italy, Viola has submitted a loan offer of €1.5 million. Plus the option to sign a permanent contract with the player of €15 million.

The report added that talks are ongoing and there is a chance Torreira will return to Italy.

The 25-year-old joined Arsenal from Sampdoria in 2018. But the midfielder’s future at the Emirates Stadium has been hampered following the arrival of Mi Gale Arteta.

Recently, the media have tried to report that the Uruguayan midfielder wants to return to Serie A despite interest from Frankfurt followed. And Arsenal now open the way for Torreira to move the team at ease. 

On the same day, London Football revealed that Fiorentina had made an appointment with Torreira to travel for a medical. And the transfer of the team should be completed soon.
