Newcastle have completed the signing of England midfielder Joe Willock from Arsenal for £25 million.
According to an official statement, Newcastle United have reached an agreement to sign midfielder Joe Willock from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee.
“The 21-year-old had a very remarkable time on loan at the Magpies in January-May 2021, scoring eight goals in just 14 appearances in the Premier League. It helped Steve Bruce’s team finish 12th in the table last season.”
“During his early days on Tyneside, He became the youngest player to score in seven consecutive Premier League games. He has now signed a long-term contract with the team.”
Willock said: “I’m really excited to be here. I enjoyed my time here last season. And I’m very happy to be back. And he’s a Newcastle United player.”
“Obviously starting with Arsenal is a big step forward. And I want to thank everyone involved with the club for their support over the years. But this was a move to the right club at the right time for me.”
