La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Wednesday that Lazio were in advanced talks with Arsenal over a move for Lucas Uruguay midfielder Reira joined the team this summer. 

The 25-year-old midfielder had experience playing in Italy with Pescara and Sampdoria before joining Arsenal in the summer of 2018 for €29m. But Torre Jara has struggled to settle in England. And he was released to Atletico Madrid on loan last season. He returned to the ‘Emirates Stadium’ this summer. But still determined to move the agency before the market closes.

According to reports, Lazio can bring Torreira to the club on a loan deal with the option to sign permanently next summer. The 25-year-old midfielder is a perfect fit for Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system and also holds a Spanish passport. So it does not affect quotas outside the European Union. But the Roma will only sign new players if they let some players out of the squad. Especially Joaquin Correa, who is being targeted by Inter Milan.
